Please see the message below from the team at Holborn Community Association This week, we have exciting news about our Appeal for Holborn Community Association 2023, Millman Street’s festive program and Christmas sit down dinner. We have started our Appeal for Holborn Community Association 2023. Your donations are what keeps us running. This keeps our doors open to you all, it also means we can keep the price of our sessions as low as possible.   We appreciate each and every donation as it means that we can keep helping the community. That means running young people’s activities, lunch clubs for older people, free play sessions for under 5s and their families and craft groups for everyone These are just some of where our costs go.  Kindly donate so we can keep meeting the basic needs of vulnerable children, adults and older people. Why not write sing or paint or enjoy the thrill of live music online? We are delighted to share with you, news about the Songhaven’s Christmas concert. Sat. 16 Dec 2023, 12:00-1:00pm – SINGALONG CAROLS Led by mezzo-soprano Ailsa Mainwaring from Songhaven and the TAP Ukulele Band. At St George’s Gardens, Handel Street Bloomsbury, London, WC1N 2NU. NO BOOKING NEEDED Mince Pies, Mulled Wine & singalong song sheets provided This is an outdoor event so please dress warmly and enjoy. With this thought in mind, we would like to warmly invite you to join in the festive fun with our Christmas program. We kick off with Peter’s Flower Arranging, spectacular Christmas special on the afternoon of Thursday 7th December. Book early to avoid disappointment. On Monday 11th December, we have been invited to St. Georges for their festive community tea afternoon. Come all you faithful .. Thanks to our great friends, Intergenerational Music Makers, on the morning of Tuesday 12th December. We will be celebrating the Christmas spirit, with a wonderful music workshop. Then come and join us on Wednesday 13th December for some delicious party food. After which we can promise great entertainment in the form of Linda Hall. Also we might be having special guests to lead you on the dance floor! Finally on Tuesday 19th December, we are holding our famous Christmas sit down Turkey dinner. After figgy pud and refreshments, you can sit back and join in a Christmas Music Hall Singalong with our great friends from The Good Companions.
