Test results and telephone advice

The telephones can be busy early mornings.  We ask you to telephone for test results (eg blood, urine, x-ray) after 11.00 if possible.

If you would like to speak to a GP, the best time to call is between 11.30am and 1.00pm. Alternatively, please leave a message with a receptionist and a doctor will call you back as soon as possible.

If your problem requires urgent attention, please let the receptionist know that your call is urgent, so that a doctor can call you back as soon as possible. Please check that we have your correct contact details on our system.

To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the patient, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
